Jose Teodoro Limcaoco
Chief Finance Officer
Jose Teodoro K. Limcaoco, Filipino, was appointed Chief Finance Officer and Finance Group Head of Ayala Corporation in April 2015. He joined Ayala in 1998 and was seconded to the Bank of the Philippine Islands group in 2007.
From July 2010 to February 2015, TG was the President of BPI Family Savings Bank, the consumer banking flagship of Bank of the Philippine Islands and the largest thrift bank in the Philippines. He also served on the board of BPI/MS Insurance Corp., the bank’s property and casualty insurance joint venture with Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance, BPI Globe Banko, Ayala Plans Inc., and Philippine National Reinsurance Corp. Between 2007 and 2010, Mr. Limcaoco was President of BPI Capital Corporation, BPI's investment banking subsidiary. He served as the President of the Chamber of Thrift Banks in 2013 and 2014.
Prior to his secondment to BPI in 2007, TG held various responsibilities at Ayala including CFO for Azalea Technology Investments, Inc., President of myAyla.com, Trustee and Treasurer for Ayala Foundation Inc., Assistant Treasurer of Ayala Corporation and CFO of Ayala's AC Capital division. Prior to Ayala, he headed the investment banking and securities operations of Barclays PLC in the Philippines. He has also worked for J.P. Morgan in Singapore where he was responsible for the Asian currency derivatives business and in New York where he began his banking career on the interest and currency derivatives trading desk.
Before banking, TG worked in the tech industry, where he worked as a programmer at VLSI Technology, a semiconductor firm in San Jose, California.
TG received his BS in Mathematical Sciences (Honors Program) from Stanford University in 1984 and his MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in 1988.
